About Online EXR Viewer

Overview

Online EXR Viewer is a lightweight, free tool for VFX artists, 3D developers, and learners who need to open and inspect OpenEXR (EXR) image files instantly — no download, no install, no upload. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Capabilities

Exposure (EV) and gamma adjustment for HDR preview
Channel isolation: R, G, B, A (alpha), luminance (Y)
Scroll-wheel zoom centered on cursor, pan by dragging
Flip horizontal / vertical toggles
Keyboard shortcuts for every common action
Cursor readout chip with pixel coordinates and color swatch

Privacy

Your files are decoded entirely in your browser using the three.js EXRLoader and are never uploaded. We use cookie-free, self-hosted Umami analytics for anonymous page visits and successful tool use, but never send file names, file contents, image metadata, or processing results.
